Observing talent first-hand, Coyle took a hands-on approach to his research as he traveled around the world before putting his pen to paper. While comparisons can be drawn to Malcolm Gladwell\u2019s <i>Outliers<\/i>, Coyle does not aim to dismiss or simply the circumstances behind many of his subjects\u2019 successes. Three chapters are available on the author\u2019s website as free samples. <b>(<a href=\"http:\/\/www.thetalentcode.com\">thetalentcode.com<\/a>) <o:p><\/o:p><\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><b>TOOL: Lala <\/b>\u2013 Referring to itself as \u201cwhere music plays,\u201d Lala includes over seven million songs in its database. Free of advertising, anyone can sign up to listen and create playlists. The catch of sorts is that Lala is aiming to get its users to buy songs, which it makes available for less money than iTunes (10 cents for web-streaming only or 89 cents for all access). All music purchased is DRM-free, compatible with both iTunes and Windows Media Player.
