<\/b><b><i>Intriguer<\/i> <\/b><\/p>\n<p>     Easily the best Australian release of 2010, Crowded House returned to form in the most stunning way with this brilliant, heartfelt, and thought-provoking album.   <\/p><\/blockquote>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"238\" align=\"center\" height=\"226\"><img loading=\"lazy\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/dailyvault.adishjain.in\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/drake_thankme_150.jpg\" title=\"drake_thankme_150\" alt=\"drake_thankme_150\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/td>\n<td width=\"510\" height=\"226\">\n<blockquote>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><b>6.\u00a0 Drake &#8211; <\/b><b><i>Thank Me Later<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n<p>     It\u2019s a shame I didn\u2019t get around to reviewing this one because it thoroughly deserves its place here in my favorite selections of 2010.\u00a0 I spent most of the year waiting for the new Nelly and Ne-Yo releases only to be disappointed with them both.\u00a0 Drake\u2019s debut LP though quickly filled the void with some of the smoothest (\u201cLight Up\u201d) and most captivating (\u201cThe Resistance\u201d) R&#038;B grooves I came across this year.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"238\" align=\"center\" height=\"231\"><img loading=\"lazy\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/dailyvault.adishjain.in\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/elviscostello_national_150.jpg\" title=\"elviscostello_national_150\" alt=\"elviscostello_national_150\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/td>\n<td width=\"510\" height=\"231\">\n<blockquote>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><b>5.\u00a0 Elvis Costello &#8211; <\/b><b><i>National Ransom<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">Another superb record that I have yet found time to review.\u00a0 Elvis Costello rarely repeats himself and at times that is probably his downfall, but more often than not, he comes up with the goods in the studio, and this year\u2019s National Ransom is easily one of his best.\u00a0 From the edgy title track that opens the album to the subtle swing of its closer (\u201cA Voice In The Dark\u201d), EC never loses his cool or strays from the course throughout this sprawling 16-track set.\u00a0 Simply brilliant, this one is.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td>\n<div style=\"text-align: center\"><img loading=\"lazy\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/dailyvault.adishjain.in\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/robertplant_band_150.jpg\" title=\"robertplant_band_150\" alt=\"robertplant_band_150\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/div>\n<\/td>\n<td>\n<blockquote><p>\u00a0<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<blockquote><p><b><br \/>4.\u00a0 Robert Plant &#8211; <\/b><b><i>Band Of Joy<\/i><\/b><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<blockquote><p>Nope, didn\u2019t get around to this one either but I still plan to.\u00a0 Along with one of the most underrated guitarists around today (Buddy Miller) Robert Plant casually dropped what could very well be his finest solo album to date.\u00a0 His ethereal charm and soulful voice are in perfect harmony with both the material and the players (Miller features on every track) on this magnificent record.\u00a0 Never before has he sounded more at ease and carefree as he does throughout this sonically laidback affair.\u00a0 \u201cHouse Of Cards,\u201d \u201cCentral Two-O-Nine,\u201d and \u201cMonkey\u201d are just a few reasons why any fan of Led Zep or Plant\u2019s solo works should own this superb album.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<blockquote><p>\u00a0<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"238\" align=\"center\" height=\"226\"><img loading=\"lazy\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/dailyvault.adishjain.in\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/mavisstaples_youarenotalone_150.jpg\" title=\"mavisstaples_youarenotalone_150\" alt=\"mavisstaples_youarenotalone_150\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/> <\/td>\n<td width=\"510\" height=\"226\">\n<blockquote>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><b>3.\u00a0 Mavis Staples &#8211; <\/b><b><i>You Are Not Alone<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n<p>     Jeff Tweedy from Wilco produced this glorious follow-up to Staples\u2019 stellar 2007 release, <i>We\u2019ll Never Turn Back<\/i>.\u00a0 Mavis covered some family classics like \u201cDon\u2019t Knock\u201d and \u201cDownward Road,\u201d which, thanks to Tweedy\u2019s deft production, sound as raw and relevant as the new material on offer here.\u00a0 Tweedy\u2019s own \u201cYou Are Not Alone\u201d and a vital cover of John Forgery\u2019s \u201cWrote A Song For Everyone\u201d help to keep this album focused on the message of love and compassion for the human kind.\u00a0 As for Mavis Staples, she has rarely sounded better or more determined than she does here.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"238\" align=\"center\" height=\"226\"><a href=\"https:\/\/dailyvault.adishjain.in\/index.php\/reviews\/mojo\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/dailyvault.adishjain.in\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/tompetty_mojo_150.jpg\" title=\"tompetty_mojo_150\" alt=\"tompetty_mojo_150\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a> <\/td>\n<td width=\"510\" height=\"226\">\n<blockquote>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><b>2.\u00a0 Tom Petty And The Heartbreakers &#8211;
