In mid-2010, Mike Viola and Kelly Jones \u2013- two renowned songwriters based in L.A. with roots in New York \u2013- opted to record a vinyl-only, live-in-the-studio, acoustic. Now, <i>Melon<\/i> can be found on iTunes and Amazon MP3. \u201cSteal Your Heart Away\u201d (a Fleetwood Mac cover) and \u201cThere Goes My Baby\u201d (a re-working of an earlier Viola-produced Jones recording) must be heard. <b>(<a href=\"http:\/\/www.kellyjones.com\/\">kellyjones.com<\/a>) <\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><b>BOOK: Adam Carolla \/ <i>In Fifty Years We\u2019ll All Be Chicks<\/i> <\/b>\u2013 Unarguably the most popular podcaster in this country, Adam Carolla reaches millions of listeners each week with his Adam Carolla Podcast. His first book, <i>In Fifty Years We\u2019ll All Be Chicks <\/i>is a collection of rants from the co-creator of \u201cThe Man Show\u201d and \u201cCrank Yankers.\u201d And hopefully not his last book, as this may be the funniest book I read in 2010. <b>(<a href=\"http:\/\/www.adamcarolla.com\/\">adamcarolla.com<\/a>)\u00a0 <\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><b>SERIES: Eastbound And Down <\/b>\u2013 I was late to realize the genius of \u201cEastbound And Down,\u201d which recently finished airing its second season. Starring Danny McBride as disgraced baseball pitcher Kenny Powers, \u201cEastbound\u201d follows Powers\u2019 attempted journey from ruin back to the big leagues. Season 2 is darker than the first, so newbies would be best starting at the beginning (thus enjoying Will Ferrell\u2019s arc as the owner of a North Carolina car dealership).
