The 20 singles present sold north of a million copies each, which isn’t too surprising since The Dave Clark Five were staples on the Top 40 charts for many years. <\/p>\n
\u201cGlad All Over\u201d starts the listen with the thumping drums and firm guitars, as the band\u2019s inimitable harmonizing is quite memorable, and \u201cBits And Pieces\u201d follows with a hint of surf-rock populating the snappy and gritty rock\u2019n\u2019roll flavor.<\/p>\n
Deeper into the listen, the calmer and soulful \u201cBecause\u201d is quite romantic and benefits much from elegant keys, while \u201cOver And Over\u201d will instantly get your body moving and shaking to the punchy and highly melodic highlight track that recruits harmonica to the Bobby Day original.<\/p>\n
Closer to the end, \u201cNineteen Days\u201d is a bit gruff and rugged in its precise and timeless delivery, and \u201cEverybody Get Together\u201d has frontman Mike Smith’s vocals sounding quite bright and expressive in the quintessential \u201960s rock song, that, even now, is quite relevant. <\/p>\n
