\u201cNeglected\u201d begins the listen and certainly doesn\u2019t neglect any sense of mood, where the bright brass and dreamy backdrop is both mysterious and enlightening. \u201cLament\u201d then continues the rich formula with more emphasis on drumming and some subtle prog-rock nods, too, that add a nice dimension to the chilling formula. <\/p>\n
Further yet, the dreamy textures of \u201cHighlight\u201d are easy to appreciate and hard to forget, while the soulfulness of \u201cTowering\u201d carries a nostalgic spirit that\u2019s not short on grooves. \u201cFallen,\u201d one of the album\u2019s best, then comes with cinematic qualities that unfold with a soaring and firm delivery, almost in a way that brings to mind a more muscular version of New Age sensibilities. <\/p>\n
The second half of the listen begins with the booming sax of the mesmerizing and jazzy buzzing that is \u201cTemptation,\u201d but it\u2019s the meticulous guitar-esque progressions of \u201cSophistication\u201d that really illuminates this portion of the enlightening experience. <\/p>\n
